Tablinum Acceptable Use Policy
Version 2026-10-24. Permanent address of this version: tablinum.app/legal/acceptable-use-policy/2026-10-24
Version: 2026-10-24 · Effective: not yet in effect (a draft, published 2026-10-24 for review) · Published at tablinum.app/legal/acceptable-use-policy
This policy applies to everyone who uses Tablinum: shops, their staff, and their clients using a shop's portal. If you break it, we may remove content, suspend accounts or end service under the Terms of Service or the user terms.
1. Don't break the law or harm others
Do not use Tablinum to:
- break any law or regulation, or help anyone else break one;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights, for example by uploading drawings or files you have no right to share;
- defraud anyone. This includes fake quotes or invoices, phishing, and misleading people about who you are or who sent a message;
- harass, threaten or abuse anyone;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages. Tablinum's emails are for a shop's real dealings with its own clients and staff;
- process payments for illegal goods or services, or in breach of Stripe's terms.
2. Controlled and sensitive data
Unless Tablinum has agreed otherwise in writing:
- Export-controlled data. Do not upload technical data controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, export-controlled technical data that needs a licence or a U.S.-persons-only environment, or Controlled Unclassified Information. Tablinum is not an ITAR- or CMMC-compliant environment.
- Payment details. Do not enter payment card or bank account numbers anywhere except the Stripe payment fields.
- Sensitive personal data. Do not upload government identification numbers, health information, biometric data or similar sensitive personal data, unless it is incidental to an ordinary business document and necessary for your work.
3. Don't attack or overload the Service
Do not:
- try to reach another shop's data or another person's account;
- probe, scan or test the Service's vulnerabilities. Report security issues to security@tablinum.app instead; we welcome good-faith reports;
- get around sign-in, permission, rate-limit or usage controls, or share credentials or sign-in links;
- upload malware. Uploads are scanned, and infected files are refused;
- interfere with the Service or place an unreasonable load on it, for example by scraping or by automated access other than through interfaces we provide or permit.
4. Automated agents
If you use software agents, scripts or AI assistants to act in Tablinum (when we offer the means to, such as API tokens or MCP connections), they act as you: everything they do counts as your act, and must stay within your permissions and this policy.
5. Storage
Tablinum is for the files of your shop's work. Do not use it as general-purpose bulk storage or a backup service for unrelated data. Uploads are never blocked, but we may contact a shop about storage far beyond typical use (Terms of Service §9.10).
6. Reporting
To report misuse, email abuse@tablinum.app. To report a security issue, email security@tablinum.app.
